This notice adds to our Privacy Policy for residents of US states with comprehensive privacy laws — California under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and other states with equivalent statutes. Where this notice and the main policy differ, this one governs for those readers.

Categories of Personal Information

The relevant categories are identifiers (IP, cookie identifiers, device identifiers), internet or network activity (page views, referrers and timestamps on yardhour.com), and contact information limited to any email address you chose to provide. Sources: your device, plus analytics and advertising partners where engaged.

Requests You Can Make

You may exercise rights of access, correction, deletion and portability, and may opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising. Where state law allows, you may appeal if we say no. Making a request will never result in worse service or different terms; anti-discrimination provisions apply and we honour them.

On Sale and Sharing

Nothing is sold for cash. Where advertising appears on yardhour.com, advertising identifiers may nonetheless be shared with partners, and the statutory definitions of ‘sale’ and ‘sharing’ are broad enough to cover that arrangement. You may opt out — see Do Not Sell or Share My Information. We do not knowingly sell or share the data of minors under 16.

Requesting Action

Contact hello@yardhour.com with what you need. An opt-out can also be signalled technically, by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser — we honour it automatically. We verify requests by replying to the sending address, meet the deadlines state law imposes, and allow an authorised agent to act on your behalf with written authorisation.
